How long will it take to complete our project?
In most cases, building a custom home takes an average of seven to ten months. Renovating or adding on to a home can take anywhere from one to twelve months. However, there are several factors affecting the construction timeline when building or renovating a home such as size and scope of the project, material and labor availability, customer changes, geography of the build site, weather, etc.
What is your price per square foot?
There are many variables that affect the cost when building or renovating a custom home. Because of this, we don’t have a set price per square foot that we charge. Instead, we work closely with you from the start to determined how to get the most out of your budget.
Do I need to hire a designer and architect before working with you?
The short answer is no. We want to hear from you first and then based on your specific needs we can provide in house design or recommend you to an architectural design firm. Having us involved in the design early will ensure that your plan matches your budget. Our most successful projects are those when we are involved in the plan development from the very beginning.
Who will be my contact person during construction?
We take a true team approach when building and renovating a custom home. Each member plays an important role in the construction of your project. A Garber Builders client will interact with a handful of dedicated team members at the various stages of the project.
Do you offer a home warranty?
Every home we build or renovate comes with a 1-year home warranty for work performed and materials used. If something is faulty in that first year let us know and we will get it fixed. In addition, we provide home services beyond the first year that gives you the same level of professionalism and care for your home as at the time of construction.
